Mobile County Public Schools
Mobile County Public Schools have an enrollment of over 65,000 pupils across 100+ school buildings and employs approximately 8,500 public school employees. Recently the state decided to give the school system $51 million in construction funds to help alleviate overcrowding and deteriorating conditions.
Baldwin County Public Schools
Baldwin County Public Schools have the highest per pupil expenditure of all county school systems in Alabama with an annual budget in excess of $400 million. In 2007, high school graduates earned a record of more than $22 million in scholarships. The school system population is counted at 26,900 students across 46 school campuses and is the largest employer in the county with nearly 4,000 employees.
Spring Hill College
The first Catholic college in the Southeast, the third oldest Jesuit college in the country and the fifth oldest Catholic college in America, Spring Hill is a four-year, coeducational, liberal arts and sciences institution in a residential setting.
University of Mobile
Founded in 1961 and affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the University of Mobile serves approximately 2,000 students from over 23 states and 14 nations. The University of Mobile offers more than 44 areas of study in the College of Arts & Sciences and the schools of Business, Christian Studies, Education, Leadership Development, and Nursing.

Bishop State Community College
Bishop State Community College is a state-supported, open-admission, urban community college. The College consists of four city campuses, dedicated to serving the residents of Mobile and Washington counties in southwest Alabama. The College is part of the Alabama College System, the state-supported network of two-year community, junior, and technical colleges that serves the residents of Alabama.
