About the Author
My name is Kat Vossler and I’m a Roberts Brothers Realtor®. Graduating from the University at Buffalo and a Division I collegiate athlete, I thrive on the hard work that’s involved in real estate. Nothing beats the feeling of helping people.
Simply said, I love my job.
Now the question is, “why did I decide to start a blog about real estate in Mobile, Alabama?” I’m a born Yankee, and moving here took a lot of adjustment. I found it to be unsettling to not know about the place that I lived in. When I asked native southerners questions about the area, they didn’t always have correct information. I hope that this blog can be informative for both new-comers and the homegrown community.
What does ‘Blog’ Mean?
Blog is an abbreviation of ‘weblog’. It’s main distinction from a standard website is the element of being frequently updated. The latest blog entry, or post, is generally displayed first. Past posts are archived by age, category, author, etc. A link to any post’s permanent location is always displayed for easy bookmarking.
Making Comments
To make a comment, simply click the ‘comments’ link. Comments are moderated by site owner and can be deleted or edited. Make a comment to agree or disagree with a post, to ask a question, or just to add your own experience and knowledge to the subject.

Kat – thank you for being our real estate agent. We fell in love with you the first time you showed us a house, and we’ve enjoyed every step of this often stressful business of buying/selling our house. You are always so professional, yet we also feel like we’ve known you for a long time ’cause you’re just so sweet and personable! This blog is a great idea – hopefully lots of people will see it!

The changes you’ve made to your site have been positive — the design is great and your stories of local developments and history are much appreciated.
So how about new developments in Saraland or points north…
